While we design all our pieces with a lot of heart and intention, did you know that many of the names of our pieces have a special significance to them too? Read on below for the meanings behind the names of some of our best selling outfits.

The Bhoori Set

The Bhoori Set is one of our newest launches as part of the Capsule Closet collection. Made in a bright and cheery orange fabric and featuring a ruffled top and midi skirt, the set is intentionally designed to be mixed and matched with other pieces from your closet. We designed the skirt in such a way that it could allow you to move around easily - which means that it can be easily worn for everything from a vacation to an intimate mehendi ceremony.

Bhoori is of Indian origin and signifies abundance and the great infinite. The name also means the divine power and is often used to refer to the Indian God Vishnu.

The Firdaus Dress

The Firdaus Dress was an instant bestseller when we launched it and was also a part of our limited edition Eid Box. The dress is crafted in a soft baby blue fabric with full length sleeves and a maxi length skirt. We designed the Firdaus Dress to be elegant, modest and versatile; depending on how you style it, there are so many ways to wear the Firdaus Dress!

The name Firdaus is often used as a name for girls and is of Arabic origin. Firdaus is used to describe a beautiful place that is almost equal to paradise.

The Baizah Set

The Baizah Set was a part of our Desi Boho Bridal Shower collection and features a lush floral print on a full sleeved cropped blouse and sharara style pants. The set is the perfect spring ensemble and is perfect to be worn for everything from a sangeet ceremony to your best friend’s bridal shower.

The name Baizah is used as a name for girls and is of Urdu origin. Baizah denotes something that is bright and brilliant.

The Bruna Set

While it’s impossible for us to pick a favorite from our collections, the Bruna Set comes close. With its beautifully vibrant color and a silhouette made to flatter almost every body type, the Bruna Set is as versatile as it can get! Throw on a denim jacket and take it to brunch or slip on a dupatta and you’re ready for a fun summer wedding - it looks good either way!

The name Bruna is a girl’s name in Portuguese culture and is used to describe a beautiful woman with brown skin and brown hair. 

The Zahri Set

The Zahri Set was also a part of our Boho Desi Bridal Shower collection and is made on a vibrant floral printed fabric with a full sleeved cropped blouse and sharara style pants. The name Zahri is of Arabic origin and means ‘flower-like’ and ‘fresh’. Zahri is also often used to describe something that looks like a beautiful and fresh flower.
